How Marc Lost 75 lbs and Completely Changed His Life
When Marc first reached out to me in June 2024, he was at 234 lbs. Before we started working together, his daily routine looked like something a lot of people can relate to, but would never say out loud. As Marc puts it:
"I was ordering DoorDash once a day. That was my one meal. Just one giant meal a day off DoorDash."
No structure. No plan. Just survival eating. He knew something had to change, but he'd never worked with a coach before and wasn't sure what to expect. What happened next is one of the most dramatic transformations I've ever been part of.

The First Conversation
I remember our first call vividly. Marc was honest about where he was, and I could tell right away that he had the raw material and the willingness to make this work. What he needed was direction and accountability.
Marc recalls that first conversation:
"From the first conversation I had with Josh, he was super confident, like, 'I can do this for you, I know I can help you.' And that confidence rubbed off on me."
There was one moment in particular that sealed it. When I asked Marc about his goals, he didn't have a number in mind. No "lose 50 pounds" or "put on 10 pounds of muscle." Instead, he did something more honest. Marc describes it:
"I lifted up my shirt, grabbed the fat, and said, 'We got to get rid of this.' And he said, 'We could do that.' And I think that's what initially gave me that first spurt of motivation. Yeah, I can do it."
That confidence set the tone from day one. Marc made the decision right then to go all in.
"I jumped in with both feet and I never looked back."

Building the System
We stripped away the chaos and replaced it with structure. Marc went from one random DoorDash meal a day to a proper nutrition plan: real food, portioned correctly, built around sustainability rather than restriction. We paired that with a progressive training program and, critically, weekly check-ins that kept him locked in. As Marc describes it:
"The weekly check-ins were huge for me. Having someone to answer to, someone who actually cared about my progress. That changed everything."
Those check-ins weren't just about reviewing numbers. They were about mindset, troubleshooting, and making sure Marc never felt like he was figuring this out alone. Every week, we'd look at what was working, what needed adjusting, and what the next seven days should look like.

The Results
Fast forward to today: Marc is around 159 lbs. That's roughly 75 pounds lost, and he's added muscle on top of that, so the actual fat loss is even more significant than the scale suggests.

But the physical transformation is just the surface. Ask Marc what really changed and he'll tell you it's everything else:
"My confidence has gone up so much. I went out and bought a whole new wardrobe. I feel like a completely different person."
He carries himself differently. He shows up to events, social situations, and everyday life with an energy he didn't have before. The guy who was ordering one DoorDash meal a day and avoiding mirrors now walks into a room like he belongs there. Because he does.
Why This One Means a Lot to Me
From my side of the coaching relationship, Marc's transformation is exactly why I do this work. He's a case study in what happens when someone commits fully and trusts the process. Marc just decided he was going to do this, and then he did it. No excuses, no negotiating with the plan. He showed up every single week.
That consistency is what separates the people who get results from the people who stay stuck. Marc didn't have some genetic advantage or a perfect schedule. He had a demanding life like everyone else. He just decided that this was a priority and acted accordingly.

Marc's Advice
When I asked Marc what he'd say to someone who's on the fence about starting, his answer was immediate:
"Just do it. Start as soon as possible. Don't wait. I wish I had started sooner. That's my only regret."
He's right. Every week you wait is a week of progress you'll never get back. Marc started in June 2024. In 14.5 months he was unrecognizable: not just physically, but in the way he talked, the way he carried himself, and the way he approached life.
The Takeaway
Marc's story isn't about a magic diet or a secret workout routine. It's about what happens when you pair real commitment with the right coaching. He went from 234 lbs and one DoorDash meal a day to 159 lbs of lean, confident, and energized. He did it through weekly check-ins, structured nutrition, progressive training, and a refusal to look back. If you want to see what that kind of change looks like, check out the Testimonials page.
If you see yourself in where Marc started, know that the path forward is simpler than you think. It starts with one conversation. The same kind that changed Marc's life.
